PACT is a full day program designed to train experienced fitness professionals to work safely and effectively with people who have been diagnosed with cancer during and after treatment. The goal of this program is to enable specialists to adapt traditional exercise protocols to meet the physiological and psychological needs of people living with cancer, and to communicate effectively with medical personnel.

At the completion of the 1-day course, specialists will be qualified to design and implement PACT group classes and one-on-one training for cancer survivors. The manual for this course will contain both exercise, medical and psychological sciences with practical application. This provides you, the specialist, the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to work with this unique population. During your course work you’ll be guided through the on-site practicalities of promoting, marketing and implementing PACT at host locations.

Specialists who want to teach the PACT Class will need to complete an on-site practical along with successful completion of the online exam.
